This could also mean that NetherRealm Studios has finished development of post launch content for Mortal Kombat 11 and is now working on some unannounced title. If this is the case, then it would mean that Omni-Man would not be present via this DLC package. For starters, it could suggest that Kombat Pack 3's roster has already been decided. There are a few implications that can be derived from Boon's comment. In particular, it's interesting how Boon says that it "could've worked" instead of something like "that could work" or "Omni-Man would be a cool addition." "That could've worked," responded Ed Boon.
